Long weekend Crafting at My House ....

Just a quick blog today to share with you what myself and my 5 year old twin daughters got up to over the long weekend.

 

It began with me taking them to their very first Scrapbook and paper craft expo here in Brisbane.

They loved every minute of it seeing all the crafty things and even doing some shopping of their own.

 

 

 

 

My little Charlee loves cutting and gluing and colouring bit of a jill of all crafts.

She enjoyed buying lots of goodies and eating the canteen food ...lol!

 

 

 

 

Darcee loves to craft and colour and draw. She spent a good while at the expo watching and learning and her favourite part was getting to meet and watch Jane Davenport create and draw. She was over the moon to see Miss Jane , as she calls her..lol!

 

Once we got home they got to enjoy crafting with all their purchases. Chipboard album, paper stack, bling and lots of embellishments and a few bottle each of stitckles each which they thought was the greatest thing to have in their stash.

 

Once I got my time to craft I had a custom Masquerade mask to make, in a steam punk theme.

 

 

I started with a plain white plastic mask and painted it with
black gesso.

then added some
Stampendous embossing enamel
- aged black
- aged copper
Viva 3d stamp paint - walnut brown metallic
Viva - Inka Gold
then some charms and chain to finish off the look.
and those charms that were not the right colour, I used
Ranger Adirondack ink - Butterscotch

Hope I have inspired you to get creating something old to something new.. and get the kids crafting and getting messy and having fun..
